It Is Well (in memory of Sharon Felten)

6/28/2016

Comments

Hello everyone,

Here is an a Capella version of It Is Well.

We dedicate this song in loving memory of Sharon Felten, 1956 - 2016

This song means a lot to our family.

Our dear sister-in-law, Elysa’s mom, just a short month ago passed into glory to be with her Savior and Creator. We rejoice for her as we mourn our own loss. Our human minds cannot even comprehend the bliss that she is experiencing.

When Mrs. Felten was days away from meeting her Savior face to face, she was unconscious and Elysa was singing It Is Well to her mom. When she reached the chorus, she was surprised to see that her mom would mouth the words of the ‘echo’ when she sang it. Even in her weakened state, she was ministered to by the music which was a huge part of her life ever since she was a little girl.

We wanted to sing this song in honor of her. May you be blessed by it as much as she was.

Blessings,
Victoria and Sarah Grace and the Ichthus Family Productions Team.

But rabid squirrels and a stranger in the woods will be the least of their problems. Join the gang on a wild hunt that will lead them to a buried treasure that is completely unexpected.”

No More Tears Piano Solo

6/13/2016

Comments

Hello!

Here is yet another piano solo for you to enjoy! This one is entitled No More Tears.

I have been playing the piano for over 9 years now, and have played many pieces of varied style, but this one is honestly one of my top favorites! I love pretty much all of David Nevue's (the original composer) music, and when I dug this one out of my older brother's dusty binder of sheet music, I was thrilled!  I had the opportunity to play this on a gorgeous grand piano at a hospice center, and I loved the experience! I wish I could of recorded it on the grand!

I hope you love this piece as much as I do! As always, this piece and all of our other music can be found on our Music page under theProductions tab. Please be sure to sign up for our newsletter so you will never miss anything we post! Thanks so much for you support and God bless!

Blessings,

"Times" Cover of Tenth Avenue North

6/4/2016

Comments

 Hello there!

Here is a spur of the moment song for you to enjoy! Times, cover of Tenth Avenue North.

This song was very spur of the moment, but I think it turned out pretty well.  Victoria asked me if we could record a song. I was hesitant at first, but as we had all of our recording gear out for recording our new audio drama, I figured may as well do it now instead of later when all of our studio gear is put away! (Setting up and tearing down a portable studio isn't the easiest! Believe me!) So we recorded it, I spent the next couple of hours mixing it and violǻ, it was done! This is song is one that means a lot to us, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did producing it.  Thanks so much for listening and God bless!

Blessings,

Sarah Grace

June News

6/1/2016

Comments

Hello everyone!

It’s hard to believe we are almost halfway through the year already! Time flies! Here is this month’s news.

AUDIO DRAMA:
This past month, IFP planned to record and start post production on our newest audio drama. (yet to be announced) Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not even halfway through recording. So, here in June, we plan to finish recording and Lord willing, start post-production. We plan to spend quite a bit of time in Ichthus Studio this week. Also, in a couple weeks, we will be announcing the title and description of this audio drama! We are so excited and can’t wait for you to hear it!

MUSIC:
We are planning to release at least 3 songs this month. One of the first will be a cover of a song that is very dear to my heart, featuring the vocal talents of Isabella. And we will also release at least two piano solos for you guys to enjoy.

OUR FAVORITE THINGS | A CHATCAST:
If you haven’t heard, we decided to bump back the release schedule of Our Favorite Things. Instead of twice a month, we are releasing ONE episode each month, on the last Wednesday of the month. If you missed our last episode, check it out here. Victoria and I chatted about our favorite film scores. We also discussed Hans Zimmer's musical genius, John William's 90-year-old Steinway, and much more!

That’s it for now! Stay tuned on our website for when we announce the title and description of our next audio drama! Or better yet, sign up for our newsletter! God bless and have a wonderful summer!

Blessings,
Sarah Grace
